Department Overview

We are looking for an entrepreneurial business leader to join our global marketing leadership team. The Senior Director of Marketing Strategy & New Business Ventures will contribute to setting long-term strategy and executing short-term strategy for the function. This person will identify and solve complex problems that have a broad impact on the business and create methods to address current and future customer needs. This position is also accountable for leading multiple projects and new business ventures and is responsible for budget and resource allocation for project teams. This leader will also be developing more agile and innovative ways to learn. This leader will be responsible for building business cases that guide executive leadership decisions and will partner with the global CMO for critical leadership updates on the future of Marketing initiatives and growth drivers.

The ideal candidate will be a proven strategy leader, with expertise in and knowledge of multiple disciplines and experience, including market experience, interacting and managing across functions, and directly with senior leadership. This candidate should also have an entrepreneurial mindset, be comfortable with ambiguity and agile ways of working, and be open to evolving their role and responsibilities

Duties

• Serve as project lead on New Business Ventures engaging with internal and external stakeholders
• Create an environment that prioritizes speed, innovation, learning and quality through agile and collaborative working
• Support the global marketing function by advising on the direction of team strategy and future initiatives
• Budget Planning and Leadership
• Provide support, perspective, and thought partnership to the global CMO and marketing leadership in preparation for critical business updates (Phase Planning, Board Meetings, etc.)
• Provide thought partnership in governance forums ensuring that the direction of projects is in line with our consumer strategy

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate strategy, and strategic planning preferred
• Experienced in managing and running large projects
• Experienced with executive-level communication
• Ability to work flexibly across various functions internally and externally
• Agile thinkingand the ability to identify and react to customer experience trends, thinking ahead to plan the future strategic focus
• Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence through insight and collaboration
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and desire to deliver results
• Strong business acumen including tactical and strategic thinking

Salary Range

$193,000 to $251,000
