Job Summary

To support our teams in building great products and contributing to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr. Director of Quality (Remote).

Reporting to the VP of Quality , the Sr. Director of Quality will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating product quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products through the development and management of people and processes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Interact with Flex Customers to define quality requirements for new product introductions.
• Prepare and implement QA Policies and Procedures.
• Review discrepancy reports and implement corrective actions.
• Report progress to customers as required and maintain contact to ensure their needs are met or exceeded.
• Conduct presentations to staff as needed.
• Establish QA objectives and create plans of action.
• Collaborate with top management to formulate company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
• Evaluate reports from product assurance department heads and discuss with management to formulate budgets.
• Coordinate with engineering on quality assurance for new products.
• Stay updated on industry technical developments.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain qualified, motivated staff.
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations globally to support new product introductions.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of ISO13485, ISO9001, FDA 21CFR part 820, GMP, MDD.
• Experience leading multi-site operations.
• Experience with multiple product types: Devices, IVD, electro-mechanical, pharmaceutical.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing quality.
• Design/R&D quality experience.
• Ability to build relationships and work with customers.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote): $178,100 - $244,900 USD annually, varies by location.
