Job Description

Responsible for administering a global SAP landscape with two SAP systems (ECC 6.0 and S4Hana) with multiple interfaces. Systems include SAP ECC, S4Hana, SAP Nfe (Nota Fiscal), Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, BPC, along with other business critical systems. Plans computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as base dictionaries. Establishes and maintains security and integrity controls. Formulates and monitors policies, procedures and standards relating to database management. Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system. May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. Primary duties include monitoring SAP instances, databases and logs, creating and maintaining metrics and inventory, reviewing SAP Early Watch reports, performing system health checks, managing SAP transports and spool system, problem analysis and resolution, configuring and maintaining RFCs and interconnectivity, performing SAP security functions, supporting 24x7 on-call rotation, working with users and IT staff on application requirements, maintaining data dictionary and metadata, establishing system and data security policies, providing technical expertise and support for production, development, and test environments, basis support for multi-SAP system landscape, upgrade support, performance monitoring and tuning, disaster recovery planning, guidance on SAP system landscape planning, system administration in Windows Server and SQL DB environments, collaborating with IT personnel and users at other locations, and performing other IT related tasks as required. Job qualifications include 7+ years SAP Basis administration experience for S/4 HANA and SAP ECC, BA/BS degree, expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux, Java, analytical and problem solving skills, documentation skills, Unix/Linux shell scripting experience, ability to work independently, customer service skills, support for high availability systems, SAP BTP cloud service technology experience, database administration experience (MS-SQL, HANA), Active Directory integration experience, application development experience, scripting and automation experience, ability to represent the organization as a prime technical contact, leadership behaviors, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
