RN - ENDO PRN - T at HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical Center summary:

Provides direct patient care in Endoscopy by applying the nursing process according to professional standards. Utilizes critical thinking and judgment to deliver care in a high-stress, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Maintains required certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS and holds a valid RN license.

Description:

Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice in Endoscopy.

Reports to: Director Surgical Services

Qualifications: Minimum Education
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Nursing or RN Diploma - Required DragEditDelete Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Computer proficiency required. DragEditDelete Required Skills
Certifications:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire.

ACLS & PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire
