Job Description

This is a Finance position responsible for monitoring the quality of perishable products in the warehouse on an ongoing basis, inputting orders through data entry while performing extensive customer service duties, and performing other related duties as required. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in performing duties directly related to the general operation of product quality control. Responsibilities include checking product in slots daily to ensure shipping quality standards, communicating quality issues to buyers, ensuring proper product rotation, monitoring variance reports for spoilage and damage, greeting customers to maintain customer service, inspecting inbound, warehoused, and outbound product condition, conveying product quality status regularly, analyzing and proposing solutions to quality assurance problems, and observing safety and sanitation policies. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 to 3 years of experience, ability to write reports and correspondence, effective speaking skills, exemplary listening skills, basic math skills, excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to read, write and speak English. Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, using hands and fingers for computer and telephone operation, reaching with hands and arms, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
